Events Team St John of God Foundation-London Marathon 2027 Run the Iconic London Marathon and Make Every Step Count! Have you always dreamed of running the world-famous London Marathon? Now is your chance to take part in one of the most iconic races on the planet while raising vital funds to support the work of the St John of God Foundation. By joining Team St John of God Foundation, you'll not only achieve an incredible personal goal but also help enrich the lives of children and adults living with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. Fundraising Commitment Each participant commits to raising a minimum of €3,000, which includes: Guaranteed entry to the 2027 London Marathon for Sunday 25th April. Three nights' accommodation in the 4★ Holiday Inn London Regent's Park (twin-sharing). Daily breakfast, including a special early breakfast on marathon morning. Private coach transfer from the hotel to the marathon start area on race morning. A fantastic post-race celebration to recognise your incredible achievement. Additional Costs Please note the following additional costs: Single Room Supplement: €400 (optional, payable with your deposit if you wish to have your own room) Travel Insurance: €23 (Payable with your deposit) Securing Your Place To confirm your place on Team St John of God, a non-refundable deposit of €250 is required. Frequently Asked Questions What does twin-sharing accommodation mean? We offer a complimentary "Twin to Share" service for participants who would like to avoid paying the single room supplement. If you choose this option, we will pair you with another participant of the same sex, allowing you to share a twin room at no additional accommodation cost. It's a great way to enjoy the marathon experience while keeping costs down—and many runners make lasting friendships along the way. What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising target? As per the registration form, you are responsible for reaching your target and covering the costs which St John of God Foundation has put down on your behalf. If you are struggling, please reach out to the St John of God Foundation team for advice – we are here to help all of you succeed. When do the funds need to be raised by?
