Cathal Nolan from The Hospital Saturday Fund presented a cheque for €13,000 to Deirdre, Geraldine & Katie from our Lucena Clinic.

This grant will allow us to provide the SAS programme to 65 children between 8 - 12 years old who are really struggling to cope with anger or anxiety, those at risk of losing their school placement (due to mental health issues) and others expressing suicidal thoughts. Not only do the children benefit but their parents, siblings, teachers and friends

Secret Agent Society (SAS) is a intervention therapy programme that works with children aged 8 - 12 years old with moderate to severe mental health problems. It teaches children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, severe emotional/behavioural disturbance and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to recognise and manage their own feelings, cope with change, detect other peoples’ emotions, talk and play with others and deal with bullying.
