This year we have been fundraising for a new van for Suzanne House. We are nearly at our goal of €60,000.  Currently the van we have is 12 years old and is limited in that it can only take one child and 2 nurses. A new specially adapted van would mean two children could go on social outings together to the Zoo, swimming or to the cinema.

 

Suzanne House provides respite services for children with life limiting conditions aged 1 – 13. The children have complex medical and nursing needs, they are tube fed, non-mobile and have severe to profound intellectual disabilities.

 

In Ireland Suzanne House is unique in that each month it guarantees children and their families up to three nights of 24 hour respite care.
